Gromit Unleashed 2 Locations Revealed

Calling all trail fans! The countdown is well and truly on, and with less than a month to go, Gromit Unleashed are so excited to announce the full list of sponsors and locations which will be home our incredible sculptures of Wallace, Gromit and Feathers McGraw this summer.

Over the last year, Gromit Unleashed have been working with amazing sponsors, local community groups and the council to choose the very best location for each sculpture. As a proud Bristol-based charity, they wanted to showcase as much of beautiful Bristol and its surrounding areas as possible, and after months of planning, they're delighted to share this with you all.

From 2nd July until 2nd September, trail fans can explore over sixty sculptures, each individually designed and decorated by high-profile artists, designers, innovators and local talent, spread across the city and the surrounding areas. Thornbury represents the most northerly location, with Avon Valley Adventure and Wildlife Park and Chew Valley marking the East and South boundaries, and Weston-super-Mare in the West. St Mark’s Road in Easton, the Royal Fort Gardens at the University of Bristol, Hartcliffe Community Farm and Blaise Castle are four of many locations taking part in the trail for the first time, with Clifton Suspension Bridge, Temple Meads and The Mall at Cribbs Causeway returning for a third time.

With the locations spread across the city, you will be able to find, learn about and even interact with sculptures by discovering ‘trails within trails’ across the North, East, South and West of Bristol. A printed map, available at the Gromit Unleashed shop at The Mall at Cribbs Causeway, selected locations across the city, and in The Bristol Post, will be available at the start of July. A Gromit Unleashed 2 app will be available to help hunt down sculptures, as well as a special passport trail to celebrate the trail’s innovation themes!

Our dedicated Trailblazers– Rolls-Royce, Renishaw and the University of Bristol– are busy working away to create some very special sculptures for you all, whilst Creditcall are supporting us with contactless payments devices throughout the trail.

As with all of their trails, they are keeping a few tricks up our sleeve, so watch this space over the coming weeks for a few more surprises!
