Solicitors Kindly Donate Christmas Presents to Jessie May Families

Royds Withy King Solicitors have kindly given children's hospice Jessie May Christmas presents for all of the Swindon & Wiltshire families siblings.

Jessie May is a Bristol-based charity providing nursing care at home for children and young people with life limiting conditions who are not expected to live beyond the age of 19. 

Since Jessie May was founded in 1996 the charity has supported over 300 children and their families in Bristol, South Gloucestershire, North Somerset, Bath & North East Somerset, and Swindon & Wiltshire.

The 37 gift-wrapped presents donated by the solicitors is sure to cheer up the families of terminally-ill children this Christmas.

Debbie Clark from Jessie May was extremely grateful for the solicitor's donation.

She said: "This is such a tremendously generous gift and a wonderful way for a local business to support to get involved. It's a magical way to help our families make memories that will last forever.

"The ethos behind Jessie May is everything we do is for the family as a unit, so by providing the Swindon and Wiltshire families with something a little extra we hope this will show them how very special they are to us

"Our nurse will deliver these ahead of Christmas on their respite visits and to us it’s just like putting our arms around the whole family and saying 'Merry Christmas'

"This is our first Christmas in Swindon so this is the first time we've done something like this."
