Your Total Guide To business

Jodie Fraser

South West entrepreneur Jodie Fraser nominated for three national property management awards

Jodie Fraser, founder of Fraser Allen Estate Management, has been named as a finalist in three categories ahead of this year’s Property Management Awards which take place in London later this week.

Jodie was chosen as a finalist by an independent panel of judges in the following categories:

  • Boutique Property Management Company of the Year
  • Influencer of the Year
  • Customer Service Award

Jodie explains what being a finalist means: “This recognition means the world to myself and my team. After a very hard year, we are so grateful. For the business, it shows that even through adversity we are still doing all we can to put our clients first. We don’t always get it right, but we always do our best.”

And there is one category, in particular, that means a great deal to her: “I’m really pleased about being recognised in the Influencer category because that reflects my charity work, becoming a corporate ambassador for the Hollie Gazzard Trust and how I am continuing to speak up about mental health and wellbeing within the industry.”

Joining Jodie at the awards ceremony will be her colleague Alice Baker and other guests from the industry.  “We’re looking forward to the evening, especially catching up with people we haven’t seen in a while.”

The Awards were established by News on the Block, a building management trade magazine that aims to provide help and advice to flat owners and professionals working in the residential flat industry. A statement announcing the awards on its website read:

“We had a fantastic amount of strong entries this year which makes the judging process that much more difficult. However, after three weeks of scoring, deliberations and meetings we have our shortlist for 2022! It is a fantastic achievement to be a finalist, so we want to congratulate all of our finalists and wish you all the very best of luck.”

Jodie has already enjoyed success at the awards. Last year, she won the Pandemic Response Award, was Highly Commended for Regional Property Manager of the Year and was a finalist for Property Management Company of the Year.

She said: “The pandemic had a big effect on us and our customers, so to be able to help our residents during the pandemic and to then be recognised for it was a real achievement.”

Whatever the outcome of this year’s awards, Jodie is focused on delivering the very best service: “Our plans for the coming year are to continue to serve our clients, but to also work more in the mentoring and wellbeing space to help and coach new property managers.”
