Afternoon Tea in Bristol

Afternoon tea is more popular than ever, but where to choose? TGtB reveals the best places to enjoy afternoon tea in Bristol, including the tea rooms of Harvey Nichols, The Lido and Hotel du Vin.

So you fancy some afternoon tea in Bristol, but do you know how this great concept came about? This great British tradition of afternoon tea was first started back in 1830 by the Duchess of Bedford, who when irritated by hunger pangs in between lunch and dinner, decided to schedule time to take tea and snack each afternoon.
