Drumline Holiday Workshop

A half-term drumming workshop for ages 11–16 led by Grammy Award–winning drummer and educator Adam Teixeira.

Drumline Holiday Workshop is an introduction to drumline performance for drum kit students aged 11–16 (approx. Grade 3 standard or above), led by Grammy Award–winning drummer, percussionist and educator Adam Teixeira.

The workshop develops creativity and musicality through beats, fills and chops, drawing on Teixeira’s book Flipping Beats. Starting with warm-ups, techniques, rudiments and stick control on practice pads, participants extend ideas to snares and bass drums in group music-making to experience the energy of playing together in a drumline.
