Old City Sounds

Old City Sounds is a free, family-friendly music celebration across Bristol’s Old City, featuring live performances, workshops and entertainment from midday until late.

Old City Sounds takes over King Street, St Nicholas Street, Welsh Back and St Stephens Church in a free musical celebration for all ages.

Taking place on the Saturday of the late August bank holiday weekend, the event features live music and dance performances, family activities, workshops and outdoor entertainment from midday until late. Genres range from jazz and Irish folk to DJs and alt-rock.

Tickets: The main programme is free and ticketless, though some individual venues may ticket special events.

Location: Bristol Old City festival areas (King Street, St Nicholas Street, Welsh Back, St Stephens Church and participating venues).
