Schools Takeover Performance

Schools Takeover Performance is a student-devised theatre project created with New Fosseway School, featuring original songs and stories about space exploration.

Devised and created in collaboration with New Fosseway School, this Schools Takeover invites audiences to watch students take to the stage with a brand-new show.

The performance explores outer space with a crew of astronauts-in-training embarking on intergalactic missions, discovering new planets and uncovering the mysteries of the universe.

Delivered by Tobacco Factory Theatres in partnership with New Fosseway School, the project was developed over 10 weeks and guided by a creative team including Theatre Director Kate Pasco, Musical Composer David Hewson, Designer Edwina Bridgeman and Young People’s Programme Coordinator Imogen Downes.
