JOB OF THE WEEK: Financial Services Administrator

The Firm:

Their award winning technology and investments solutions client have an opportunity for a Financial Services Administrator to join their rapidly growing team in their fantastic central Bristol offices. You will be joining a sociable and friendly open-plan office atmosphere with a company who are committed to supporting and developing your skills in the Fin-Tech industry.

Hours:

The role is fullt ime hours Monday - Friday, 35 hours per week. This role is fully office-based for the first 3 months but can then be a hybrid role working 3 days in the offices with 2 days working from home. Competitive salary on offer which is reviewed each year as well as an amazing and extensive company benefits package.

The Role:

This role will be working in the CASS Operations Team where you will manage the widest available range of ISA's and SIPP's. This role is to ensure all operational processes have been followed in line with internal policies and procedures and be responsible for identifying any required fixes using control reports and reconciliations.

Main duties will include:

  • Perform the daily External Bank Reconciliations, ensuring that any breaks are understood, aged and communicated
  • Assisting the team to perform the daily Internal Client Money Reconciliation, ensuring that this is completed in a timely and accurate manner and ensuring this meets the current CASS 7 regulations
  • Completing the daily Equity Stock Reconciliation and monthly Fund Stock Reconciliation, ensuring that all breaks are understood, aged and communicated
  • Completion of all daily control reports to ensure that Operations are effectively processing all daily tasks.
  • Calculating the adviser and Parmenion month end fees in a timely and accurate manner

The ideal person:

  • Experience is not essential as long as you have an enthusiasm to learn new skills and knowledge and grow your career.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in an organised manner and the ability to multi-task and switch priorities.
  • Self-reliant and a good problem solver.
  • The ability to work well in a team to do the right thing for your clients
  • The desire to work in a busy, fast paced office
  • Previous administration experience for a minimum of 1 year
  • Desirable - Previous experience working within Financial Services or with cash and/or stock reconciliations would be advantageous, but not essential.
  • CASS knowledge desirable, but not essential.
