AJ Bell Junior & Mini Great Bristol Run

AJ Bell Junior & Mini Great Bristol Run is a children’s city-centre running event in Bristol featuring a Mini 1.5K and Junior 2.5K on closed roads with a carnival-style atmosphere.

The AJ Bell Junior & Mini Great Bristol Run gives younger runners a chance to take on a fun, high-energy route in central Bristol, starting and finishing at College Green. Mini runners aged 3–8 complete a 1.5km dash (with a parent), while Junior runners aged 9–15 take on a 2.5km sprint. Event date: Saturday 9 May 2026. Key times include an information point opening at 08:00, Junior waves from 09:00 and the Mini wave at 10:10. The event includes on-course music and entertainment, photo opportunities, a kids’ t-shirt to run in and a finisher’s medal, plus an event village with exhibitors, food and drink after the run.
