Haines Watts wins prestigious national award for excellence
Chartered accountants and business advisers Haines Watts have been voted Accountancy Firm of the Year at the annual FDs’ Excellence Awards.
The firm, the 15th largest in the UK, has teams all over the country including an office in Bath Street, Bristol.
Matthew Bracher, managing partner of the Bristol team, said: “To be recognised by the people and businesses we work with makes receiving an award like this all the more special. Our focus is to help our clients achieve both business and personal objectives in a way that is supportive, collaborative and empathetic to their concerns and needs. To have a local presence and be on hand to enable an immediate response to our clients and yet have access to a national network of specialist colleagues really does reflect our ‘local matters, national strength’ branding.”
The national awards were created in 2001 to recognise exceptional finance directors, lenders and advisors across the UK. This year’s winners were announced at an annual Finance Leaders’ Summit in London (May 2019).
Finalists in the prestigious Accountancy Firm of the Year award included Deloitte, Grant Thornton UK, KPMG, PwC and RSM.
Nationally, Haines Watts is a top 15 firm of Chartered Accountants who specialise in advising and supporting business owners, individuals and not-for-profit organisations locally and throughout the UK. The firm has been at the centre of the Bristol and South West business communities for the last 12 years growing from six staff then to 63 today. For more information visit www.hwca.com
