Your Total Guide To business
Bristol’s StartupBus is parked opposite Engine Shed, on Lower Approach road between 10 am and 4 pm.
Engine Shed is a hub for activities where entrepreneurs, academics and corporate can meet and collaborate. Nick Sturge, the Director of Engine Shed will volunteer his time in the afternoon to mentor entrepreneurs. Nick said “We see a range of companies through Engine Shed’s business lounge, such as IoD members, Bristol Media, RegenSW and spinouts from the four universities in Bristol and Bath, but it’s great to have the opportunity for startups to learn from each other, as well as having the support of StartUp Britain’s advice.”
StartupBus initiative is supported by SETsquared, an incubator for high growth and high tech ventures, which has been ranked as Global No.1 university-led business incubator by UBI. Monika Radclyffe, the Centre Director for SETsquared in Bristol said: “The StartupBus is on a mission to inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs to set up their own businesses. But it is really hard to do it by yourself, and that’s why being part of the incubator where we have 65 startups not only helps to accelerate your business growth but also enables you to flourish as an entrepreneurs and leader among like-minded people”.
Four SETsquared members are offering business advice to StartupBus visitors:
Come and visit them on the Startup Bus at the Lower Approach Road today, Friday 22 July 2016, between 10 am and 4 pm. Engine Shed is sponsoring drinks at Yurt Lush from 4 pm for those who visit the #StartUpBus.
