About: Explore some amazing caves with the family. They also offer a 4D cinema, adventure golf, museum, mystery fairy garden, dinosuars, a papermill, arcade, gift shops, picnic area, cafe and lots more! The attraction offers a helpful device you can listen to while walking around the underground labyrinth. If the weather is good families can also enjoy a walk around Cheddar Gorge which is undoubtedly one of the UK’s most impressive natural landmarks, with towering cliffs and a host of wildlife.

Distance from Bristol: 52 minute drive (38.3 miles) via the M4

About: Just under an hour’s drive north east of Bristol, this area produced gravel until the Seventies, when the pits were filled with water and about 150 lakes were created. These now serve as either wildlife habitats or lively centres for watersports. An inviting range of activities is on offer for all ages, with an inland beach, swimming, kayaking, canoeing, aqua zorbing and lots more.
