About: This indoor and outdoor children's farm is the perfect day out for those up to 12 years of age. It allows those living in the city a chance to experience real farming life. As well as offering the brilliant experience of farm life, they offer educational and recreational facilities including activities for all to get involved with. They have a range of farmyard animals, community gardens, picnic area, cafe serving homemade food, an adventure playground, community building with meeting spaces, a five-a-side pitch and environmental and craft-based courses.

St Werburghs City Farm - Currently Closed
About: This city farm is located in the heart of the city offering both indoor and outdoor activities. It plays host to many areas which include the farm site, a Community Garden, a 2.5 acre wildlife woodland, and 13 acres of community and they house sheep, ducks, goats, lambs, rabbits and chickens for all to enjoy! There is also a plaground and a cafe for those who get a little peckish throughout the day.

Hartcliffe Farm
About: Hartcliffe Farm is a small, free, city farm in the heart Bristol with farm animals to meet, an aviary plus a kiddies corner for younger children to play.The staff and animals are very friendly and there are picnic tables if you would like to stay longer and enjoy a delicious picnic. Chew Valley Animal Park
About: This is a brilliant farm to visit in the heart if city, with so many animals to meet you’ll get a zoo experience with the personable nature of a country farm. Your children will also have the opportunity to play mini-golf, run around a play area, and eat fresh food from the cafe. The farm also offers hand feeding experiences, so you’ll get to feed a variety of animals.

Avon Valley Adventure Wildlife Park
About: Set in the stunning Avon countryside, this wildlife park is where nature and adventure comes together! As well as animals to entertain you they have a huge indoor and outdoor adventure park to let off some steam. And they have a pets corner where you’ll be able get to cuddle your favourite furry friends from rabbits to guinea pigs!
