Borussia Bristol Football Club

Borussia Bristol (The Teeth) have just completed their first season in Division 2 of the Bristol Premier Sunday Football League. Having been a fairly successful 6 a side team for many years, manager Dan Rozzell, wanted to build on that and set up a Sunday league side.

About

The club plays their home games at the GFA’s Oaklands Park Stadium and managed to finish last season in 2nd place prior to the season being suspended due to COVID-19. The squad is made up from a very tight group of friends on and off the pitch. The squad Dan assembled includes friends from school, players he’s played with at previous clubs and players from the 6 a side team.

This November they have a cup final against Air Legends which will take place on Sunday 8th November 2020, 10am kick off at the Oaklands Park Stadium, Gloucester Rd, Almondsbury, Bristol BS32 4AG.

Entry to this will be £3 which includes a copy of the match day programme. 

A few of their Player Profiles

Jim Willis (Goalkeeper) – A real club legend in between the sticks, very good shot stopper with excellent reflexes. Causes the gaffer all sorts of problems as he’s made of glass. Jim’s love for the club can never be doubted. Shout out to his Dad, the club’s number one fan!

Jordan Tolley (Defender) – Nicknamed “Mr solid and reliable” he rarely lets you down on the pitch. Already used the excuse of playing in a cup final once last season with his girlfriend to be allowed to play, so wonder what he told her this time!

Dan Rozzell (Defender & Manager) – The Gaffer and a BTEC Andy Robertson Won’t take you long to realise he’s completely one footed! Loves to mention he once scored directly from a corner. His trophy cabinet is full of trophies after finally finding a team that can actually win titles for him!
