Pick Your Own Fruit Near Bristol
While the warm weather is set to stay you want to make the most of it, so why not try your own fruit picking. Near Bristol there are a few pick your own fruit farms that host a range of fruits from strawberries to raspberries, some with playgrounds and farms to which make a great day out for the whole family. St Aldams Nursery
Location: Westerleigh Road, Pucklechurch
About: This beautiful Pick Your Own farm features yummy strawberries, gooseberries, raspberries, redcurrents and blackcurrents giving yiu a range of delicious fruits to choose from! If you're wanting to head there for the raspberries, be mindful that they don't start blooming until mid July!
If its crops you're looking for like carrots and beetroot, they will appear mid August, which is then followed by onions and potatos in September.

Primrose Vale Farm Shop
Location: Shurdington Road, Gloucester
About: This stunning farm is the perfect place for a spot of strawberry picking with beautiful fields surrounding the picking spots! Their most popular pick are definitely the strawberries, closely followed by raspberries gooseberries, blackberries, blackcurrants, loganberries, tayberries & whitecurrants.
Plums, Apples and Pears are available in the autumn too.

Thurloxton Fruit Growers
Location: Keirles Farm, Taunton, TA2 8RH
About: This is a little further out from the city, however still a brilliant day out for all! This fruit growing farm is run by the Quick family who have farmed on the foothills of the beautiful Quantocks for much of the last century.
They grow strawberries, raspberries, gooseberries, loganberries, redcurrants, blackcurrants, rhubarb, broad beans and potatoes.
How far from Bristol: 1 hour and 21 minutes by car (52.4 miles) via the M5
Lotmead Farm
Location: Warnborough, SN4 0SN
About: Lotmead is the perfect place to get picking with your family! Not only can you pick some of your favourite fruits here but what a wonderful day out it is as well with a playground and a farm to visit before or after!
There’s also an onsite café and farm shop for snacks and drinks, homemade cakes and ice creams for when you get a little peckish!
How far from Bristol: 50 minutes by car (46.1 miles) via the M4
Over Farm
Location: Over, Gloucester, GL2 8DB
About: This is a beautiful, family-run farm, perfect for picking your own! They usually begin with strawberries which come out around mid June time and then are followed by raspberries and blackberries which become available by mid July!
They also feature a farm with pigs, ostriches, chickens, ducks, sheep, donkeys, ponies and a goat and a farm shop.
