Booker Prize winner Marlon James introduces the forthcoming novel The Disappearers in conversation with celebrated Bristol author, poet and performer Vanessa Kisuule.

The novel returns to territory explored in the Booker-winning A Brief History of Seven Killings, and is set in late 1980s Kingston, Jamaica, offering an uncompromising portrait of queer life amid bigotry and violence.
