Based on Onjali Q. Raúf’s bestselling novel, this heartfelt and often hilarious story follows a group of friends who come up with “The Greatest Idea in the World” to help their new classmate Ahmet—who has fled a war-torn country—reunite with his family.

Told from a child’s perspective and balancing heart with humour, The Boy at the Back of the Class highlights the power of friendship and compassion, and the importance of making a place to call home.
