Uptown Funk, the Most Requested Tune at Christmas

Bristol party revellers’ favourite dance tune of Christmas 2014 was Uptown Funk according to research conducted by Christmas party specialist Best Parties Ever.

The company, which hosted over 5,000 guests at its Roaring Twenties themed party at the Paintworks, identified the top five tunes requested as:

Mark Ronson feat. Bruno Mars - Uptown Funk
Mariah Carey - All I Want for Christmas
Rihanna – Only Girl in the world
Meghan Trainor – All About that bass
Jessie J - Bang Bang

Tim Stevens, MD of Best Parties Ever and all round Christmas party expert says: “We were curious to see what people wanted to hear at our parties, so we asked our DJs to monitor and record requests. Expecting the Christmas classics, we were surprised to see that our Bristol party goers were much more top 40 focused!”

Best Parties Ever will again be hosting its Christmas parties at the Paintworks this year. With a masquerade ball theme, the venue will be transformed into a Venetian street setting with living statues and Venetian street theatre, intricately carved stone feature bars, classical candelabras and of course, mysterious masks.

The 2015 party season in Bristol will commence on Friday 27th November and run until Saturday 19th December with prices starting at £45.00 per head.
