Shallowater, a West Texas trio featuring Blake Skipper (guitar/vocals), Tristan Kelly (bass) and Ryan Faulkenberry (drums), fuse slowcore, post-hardcore, country and Americana into their self-described “raw West Texas dirtgaze”. The band’s 2025 record God's Gonna Give You a Million Dollars helped establish them as a notable act in the alt-country/slowcore scene, balancing heavy distortion with softer dynamic passages.
