The Acts
The Acts is a genre-defying showcase of new writing by emerging theatremakers, presenting four distinct pieces spanning satire, circus, mythology and autobiographical storytelling.
Dates: 03 Sep 2026 to 04 Sep 2026
The Acts is a genre-defying showcase of new writing from some of the UK’s boldest emerging theatremakers.
The programme includes:
- HOT COLD by Fran Bushe – a raw, funny dive into perimenopause and identity
- The Double Draw by Hannah Finn & Morgan Barbour / Duo Artemis – archery, duo acrobatics and physical theatre under the gaze of Artemis
- Ride the Wind by Jordan Charles – an Afro-fantasy musical weaving Yoruba mythology, puppetry and West African dance
- The Making of The Eye Show by Kat Bond – a bold satire blending clowning, stand-up and storytelling
The Acts brings disabled artists beyond expected boxes, presenting urgent, inventive and unapologetically original performance across two nights.
