The World’s Smallest Tall Ship sails under the Clifton Suspension Bridge ahead of the annual Harbourside Festival

Bristol’s flagship event, the Bristol Harbour Festival returns to the city on the 19th to 21st July featuring familiar favourites, new attractions and filling the harbour with three and a half miles of vessels, food markets, circus acts, live music and performers and this year, the World’s Smallest Tall Ship will be sailing in for the Bristol Harbour Festival.

The ship is set to arrive in Bristol under the iconic landmark – the Clifton Suspension Bridge, this evening (15/07/2019) between 5.30 - 6pm and will mark the start of the feature vessels arrivals.

The nine meter long brigs are designed to introduce sailors to the fun and challenges of sailing a tall-ship and throughout the weekend will be seen sailing up and down the harbour for visitors to see.

Throughout the whole 2019 festival programme there are exciting events on every corner of the city centre. Highlights include the plenty of activities for the whole family to get involved in, including the Circus Playground and Bristol Dances area.

Bristol Harbour Festival attracts 250,000 visitors each year, bringing the city together as one community to celebrate Bristol’s rich and diverse maritime heritage and culture, as well artistic talents and local businesses.

The Bristol Harbour Festival is managed and produced on behalf of Bristol City Council by award winning Bristol based Richmond Event Management (REM) www.rem-events.com
