A week-long summer school of drama games, storytelling and prop-making for children aged 8–10, led by experienced theatre practitioners, culminating in an informal sharing for family and friends.

Young Theatre Makers: Summer School 2026 – Ages 8-10

Designed for children aged 8–10, this week-long course develops drama skills through games, imaginative play, role-play and storytelling. Participants collaborate with an experienced creative team to invent characters, create scenes, explore imaginary worlds and design props and costumes.

Sessions combine creative, physical and craft activities, plus a daily trip to the local park for fresh air and outdoor games.

On the final day, Friday 14 August at 3.30pm, there is an informal performance sharing what has been explored during the week.
