National Trust members can gain free entry and parking to this excellent site, which is packed full of activities to occupy your kids.
The site is on the border between Bristol and North Somerset. According to The Times, it boasts 540 acres of grounds for kids to roam and an ornate gothic home with 72,000 different objects inside.
The play equipment at Tyntesfield caters to children of all ages; for smaller children, there is the farm-themed playground, which features a big tractor to climb up and slides to zoom down.
For older children, the orchard playground by the Pavillion Cafe offers plenty of fun while parents can relax and watch them from a distance.
As if that weren’t enough, Tyntesfield also has a woodland play area equipped with a den-building village and a sculpture trail, allowing your children to truly connect with nature.
The X6 bus, which runs from Bristol Bus Station to Clevedon, stops at Tyntesfield. The journey should only take 23 minutes.
