Snapped: Armed Forces Day 2015
Over the weekend Bristol hosted its second official Armed Forces Day in support of past, present and future service personnel at Queen Square.
The day’s events began with a parade from College Green at 10am to Queen Square, where an outdoor drumhead service took place in the presence of the Lord Mayor and the Lord Lieutenant of Bristol.
This free family fun day consisted of a full programme of live music throughout the day with a whole range of acts including the HM Royal Marines Band, Army Cadet Band and more.
Military equipment and vehicle displays ran alongside the event with information and charity stalls placed around the square, children’s activities and refreshments.
