Family Cooking Class: Jamaican Cuisine with Kamial | BRISTOL | Veg Friendly

A family-friendly Jamaican cookery class in Bristol where children, parents and carers cook together and learn about Jamaican food traditions.

Children, parents and carers are invited to cook, eat and learn together at a summer holiday family cookery class (suggested age: 8–12 years).

These sessions offer families the chance to discover new cuisines, ingredients and cooking techniques while hearing the stories and traditions behind each dish.

About the cuisine
Jamaican cuisine is a bold and vibrant reflection of the island’s rich cultural heritage, shaped by African, European and Asian influences. From Brown Chicken Stew and Rice and Peas to sweet Festival bread, the dishes celebrate family, community and sharing.
