About: Century Ponds is a two-pond Carp and silver fish venue located at Stockwood Vale, Keynsham, Bristol, containing a good stock of Carp to mid-twenties.

The easy-to-access venue holds a total of 26 anglers and has ample on-site parking. Disabled access facilities include exclusive bank-side parking, five double-width platforms and level access to over ten platforms.

Location: Eastville

About: To fish with a rod and line in Eastville Park Lake you must buy a permit. If you fish without a permit, you might be asked to leave and could lose your right to enter the park. The permit costs £6 a year. To apply for a permit click here. Rules to fishing there: 

  • Fish during the day and only in the open season, which runs from 16 June to 14 March each year
  • Only fish in marked fishing areas
  • Not use more than two rods or poles per person
  • Not put up a tent or other shelter
  • Put all rubbish in the bin or take it home
  • Not use floating bait as any birds it attracts might get caught in the hooks and lines

About: Oldbury Court is a beautiful and diverse estate, combining woodland and riverside paths with historic parkland and excellent children's play facilities. Snuff Mills is a park in the Stapleton area of north Bristol, also known as Whitwood Mill. There are pleasant walks along the steep wooded banks and fishing in the River Frome.

About: Half-way between Bath and Bristol, our picturesque site is perfect for a break from the outside world. It boasts a beautiful lake for anglers of all abilities and camping facilities. A Large Lake Filled With Carp, Barbel, Bream and many More Species, Great for Kids or the more Advanced Angler. However you are NOT allowed to take the fish home when you've caught them.

About: You can fish in certain places along the iconic Bristol Harbourside: 

  • On the quay side by Baltic Wharf, between Cottage Inn and Bristol Marina
  • Between Bristol Bridge and the Glassboat restaurant
  • On the quay side in Bathurst Basin
  • In the Feeder Canal

You must not fish where boats land, such as ferry points or landing stages and all fish must be returned to the water unharmed.

About: Bitterwell Lake Fishery is situated near Coalpit Heath, Bristol, the lake itself is just over two acres in size and is steeped in history. It does cost to go fishing there:

  • Adult Day Ticket - £8.00 & £10.00 (£8.00 for 1 rod & £10.00 for 2 rods)
  • Junior, Over 65's & Disabled - £6.00 & £8.00 - Juniors are classed as Under 18's. (£6.00 for 1 rod & £8.00 for 2 rods)
  • Summer Evening Ticket - £6.00 - From 4 pm til 9 pm daily (For 1 rod or 2 rods)
