Snapped: Redcliffe Lantern Parade

Local families visited Redcliffe Children's Centre on Saturday 24th January to celebrate the start of Bristol's European Green Capital status with a stunning lantern parade.

As part of the project, acta Community Theatre worked closely with children and families at St Mary Redcliffe Primary and Redcliffe Children Centre, to create an array of colourful lanterns to be used during the event. 

The parade embraced the environmental theme of Bristol's European Green Capital status by using only recycled and re-usable resources. 

Three years after acta’s first lantern parade, Legends In Light, the parade has successfully developed into a thriving annual event.
