Brandon Hill

Cabot Tower is situated on Brandon Hill, which is a perfect location to watch a stunning sunset go down! The viewpoint at Cabot Tower is phenomenal! It really is something special, and not many people know about it! And to be able to make a summer night of it, pack up and take a picnic with a glass of wine to make it even more special! Some would say it is well worth a visit.

Troopers Hill

Troopers Hill is located Troopers Hill Nature Reserve is a local nature reserve in the St George area of east Bristol, and is owned by Bristol Parks. It is a hillside that has been quarried and mined in the past and overlooks the River Avon. It is also the most amazing place to watch a sunset in Bristol. Standing on the hill you'll be able to take in the breathtaking views of an array of colours cascading through the skies.

Harbourside

The iconic Bristol Harbourside is located in the centre of Bristol and never fails to impress us with the stunning shots taken of beautiful sunsets near the waterside! Normally the harbourside is alive and buzzing with markets, restaurants and plays host to some of Bristol's best activity spots but when you cach it right, this really is a blissful spot to catch a glimpse of the sun setting.

Clifton Observatory

The Clifton Observatory and Caves sits above the Avon Gorge offering superb views of the Clifton Suspension Bridge and the city of Bristol. The heights of Clifton obersvatory will give you the perfect canvas to watch the sun setting and a great photo opportunity! The Observatory is open to visitors 7 days a week from 10am-5pm in Spring/Summer and 10am-4pm in Autumn/Winter.

Castle Park

Although not your typical sunset watching location, Castle Park is actually a great place to watch it. Castle Park offers a quiet place to sit or stroll, whilst looking over the tranquil water towards the sunset. The walk around the fields are a pleasant one too - so make an evening of it!
